1. About this page
This page explains what personal information Frequency Studio at abundantmoon.app/studio collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. It should be read with our Terms of use.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address. Frequency Studio and Abundant Moon share one account system, so an account made here can sign in to Abundant Moon and the other way round.
- Your listening: which tone, area of life and wave you played and for how long, and the blends you save. We use this to show you “Carry on” and your saved blends, and to understand which sounds people use.
- Subscription: your plan and billing status. Card details are held by Stripe (on the web) or Apple (in the iPhone app), not by us.
- Visits to our public pages: the page, the site that sent you, your country and whether you’re on a phone or computer, counted without cookies and never linked to you. If your browser asks sites not to track it, your visits aren’t counted.
- Sign-in safety: when a sign-in code is sent, the address it went to and the connection it was asked from, kept briefly to stop the sign-in being misused.
3. How we use it
To sign you in, play what you choose, keep your saved blends, run your subscription, keep the service safe, and understand which sounds and features are useful. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who helps us process it
- Supabase stores your account and listening, in its Sydney region, and handles sign-in.
- Vercel serves the site and the sound files.
- Stripe processes web payments and holds your card details; Apple processes payments in the iPhone app.
- Resend sends our emails, such as your sign-in code.
The sound itself is made in your browser or app as you listen; what you play isn’t sent anywhere to be made.
5. Information held overseas
Your account is stored in Australia. Some of the providers above process information in other countries, mainly the United States. By using the service you consent to that. We choose providers that commit to protecting the information they handle.
6. Cookies and storage on your device
We use only the cookies the service needs, such as the one that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your listening and saved blends are deleted with it (and, because the account is shared, anything you have in Abundant Moon). Stripe and Apple keep payment records for as long as the law requires, and our providers’ routine backups are overwritten on their own schedules.
8. Security
Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what each part of the service needs, and each person can read only their own records. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
9. Your choices and rights
You can delete your account and everything in it from your account page. You can ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it by writing to auriana@abundantmoon.app; we will respond within 30 days. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service, and you also have the right to object, to restrict use, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Age
The service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Complaints and changes
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, write to auriana@abundantmoon.app and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. We may update this page; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email you about material changes.
